100% Cabernet Franc
A very good vintage for Loire reds and much more balanced than the 2003. Good ripe red and black fruit, a little cassis showing through. The tannins are there and nice and supple, classic green leafy character that typifies Cab Franc. Delicious slightly chilled.

Made from only two hectares of the oldest vines on the property it is aged in a mix of old and new French oak. It is very well balanced with good structure. Deep red and black fruit with good spice and smoke coming through. Will age well for a few years.
