We love Qupe wines, they really show that California isnt all about Cabernet and Chardonnay. Floral nose with ripe quince and apple palate, a lovely stoney mineral character. Good acidity. Fantastic now but will also lay down for 10 years.

Jim considers this to be his best vineyard, it is very cool and north facing giving long slow ripening. Citrus on the nose with a background toastiness. Serious structure from the acidity its has a pronounced lemony palate with deep minerality.

Jim Clendenen makes some of California's greatest Chardonnay, and without doubt they are elegant, restrained and most similar to Burgundy made anywhere outside of France. Slight smoky nose, very mineral with plenty of acidity.

This fantastic and unusal wine from America was previously made by Bonny Doon. Ripe fragrant grapefruit on the nose, with lots of zesty citrus character on the palate. Fresh acids and a touch of elderflower on the finish.
