What can you say about one of the greatest of Champagnes. The blend is a secret, a promise made to the Churchill family. The grapes are all Grand Cru. Butter, nuts, biscuit and enormous complexity. It has a lot more to give. Very Structured with phenomenal length.

Very different philosophy here, instead of blending a NV Champagne to taste the same year after year they are making a cuvee that reflects more of the particular vintage. Dosage is kept to a minimum to preserve finesse and purity. The result is stunningly elegant.

Huet is the most famous name in Vouvray and their wines are always brilliant. Petillant is drunk all over France but is much underrated in the UK. A gentle fizz with good biscuity edge, full and fruity on the palate with a wonderful creamy end.
