100% Nebbiolo
The wine of Barbaresco have a huge reputation to live up to and Luisin's 'Sori Paolin' is more than up to the challenge. Quite a floral nose, with some definite rose petals, spice and underlying earth truffle character. Tons of black fruit with ripe tannins and classic fresh acids. Wonderful.

Aldo Vajra is a truly great wine maker. This is his Barolo from younger vines, but the complexity is still fantastic. It is ripe and a little more forward than the top cuvee's. One of the Rhone's greatest winemakers who is known for his Condrieu but has for many years made an excellent range of Vin de Pays. From old vines and following an organic regime, this has a fragrant fruit filled nose, blackberry and spice on the palate and it is not overly big. Well balanced.
